Did Mako fulfill everything that he wanted to in his life? Absolutely not. I'm not going to kid myself and say that he was ready to go. He had his whole life ahead of him, with himself being the biggest obstacle against success. But it's hard to pity him. He took his own life by choice.

Regardless of how selfish his final act was, in the end, he's still my little brother. I'm glad that he was around when he was. He is someone that I will think about when I reminisce about the good old days.

With all that was lost, we still have Mako's memories that will remain with us forever. He will forever be twenty-one.
